The Fayette County Branch NAACP is proud to announce its third Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade and Celebration Rally in Fayetteville, Georgia. This historic celebration honoring Dr. King, presented by the Fayette County NAACP branch for the 23rd time, will take place on Monday, January 20, 2025. This milestone accounts for years when the program was paused due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The morning will begin at 8:45 AM with a pre-parade breakfast provided by McDonald’s at the Parade Assembly area for a nominal cost. The parade line-up will follow promptly at 9:30 AM. This year’s parade theme is: “Protecting Freedom, Justice, and Democracy”
We celebrate Dr. King’s enduring legacy while emphasizing the NAACP’s continued impact on fostering positive change through advocacy for inclusion, diversity, and the fight against racial injustices. Join us as we come together in unity and purpose to honor the life and vision of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
We look forward to seeing you there!
