2025 Fayette County Community Health & Wellness Fair

The Fayette County Georgia NAACP will host its 2nd Annual Community Health & Wellness Fair.  The Fair is a partnership of the NAACP, The 100 Black Women, MECCA Chapter, and Cleveland Elementary School of Fayette County School District. The fair will be held at Cleveland Elementary School from 10:00 AM to 2: 00 PM, on Saturday, September 20, 2025.

All residents of Fayette County are invited! There will also be games and prizes for children under 12.  There is no charge to attend.

The goal of this event is to provide the community with:

  • valuable health-related resources
  • disease prevention strategies
  • mental health resources
  • expert medical advice
  • health screenings (for example: blood pressure reading,      BMI measurements, glucose monitoring)
  • vaccinations

Professionals will also provide free samples and referrals to other health-related resources, along with practical demonstrations on ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Souvenir bags will be given to the first 50 adults and 50 children in attendance.

Participating organizations include Piedmont Healthcare, the American Red Cross, the Fayette County Health Department, Fayette County Pregnancy Resource Center, and Walgreens Pharmacy. These organizations and more will be on hand to provide resources and information to attendees.
